The Beach House

Wearing: Thrifted blouse, POMS earrings, Ksubi sunglasses, jeans were a gift and Dr Martens boots.

It's been so long since I've been shopping in a big city- we started the morning with a big breakfast and hit just about every charity shop in Townsville. I scored an amazing dragon embellished robe for two dollars (gotta love when the Salvos have a sale on) as well as a crazy flamenco skirt at Endeavour. Both are great for swishing around and dancing in although I'm most excited about the satin robe. I've been lusting after the perfect kimono for years now, frequently picking out particular colours and prints on Etsy. While the embroidery is in itself nothing special it's the perfect item to dress up or down. The skirt on the other hand is pure madness, part Tata Naka and part Romance Was Born. While jeans were slightly too warm to wear in tropical Queensland it did feel nice to wear a more minimalist outfit.

  1. I love when you find a skirt/blouse that cost a load elsewhere somewhere else for about £2 :)
