Sea Shells

It’s been a while since I last acquired any rocks or fossil specimens, let alone had the time to shoot and document for this blog. In case you hadn’t quite worked it out, what you’re looking at are fossil sea shells (bivalves) collected in the middle of a grass-filled meadow on my boyfriend’s property. I’ll admit, they’re not the nicest specimens but they act as a reminder of a warm winter’s day spent driving around paddocks and stopping at every pile of rocks, hammer at the ready and my iPod playing from the car speakers.
