Wearing: Romance Was Born crop top, POMS earrings, DIY skirt and Meadham Kirchhoff X Nicholas Kirkwood platforms.

This outfit was the subconscious consequence of ogling fluffy halter neck tops made by Dyspnea (yet another Australian designer who is killing it on the world stage). It was also an excuse to wear lots of interesting textures together in a dreamy pastel-coloured palette with my favourite pair of shoes. Originally I wanted to wear a coat with this but I love the silhouette and shape of this outfit just the way it is. Normally I don't like showing a bit of skin and am certainly the last person you would expect to find at a club on a Saturday night. However, I've been vibing hard on the likes of Helena
Lester-Card as well as her blogging super group the Confetti Crowd and wanted to wear a cute outfit for Summer before it gets too cold. We've been lucky so far with only a few days above 40 degrees Celsius (that's over 100 Fahrenheit!) and mild conditions amounting to a lower-level threat in terms of bushfires. There might still be some hot days ahead but I'm confident it's nothing a bottle of iced tea can't fix.
