Unless you have been living under a rock for the past few weeks or taken a vow to avoid all forms of social media you will have heard Gemma Ward has returned to couture after a six year hiatus. She stars alongside fellow Australian Julia Nobis in Prada's S/S 2015 campaign emphasizing the brands penchant for leather goods and an equally impressive line of boots, dresses and coats. No longer are brands confined to certain stereotypes and increasing a cooler autumnal color palette is being used in Spring collections. It's rather refreshing to see these tones re-imagined as a series of spring coats and sleeveless tops featuring swirling baroque prints. I just love the art direction and contrast between colour photos and their black and white counterparts. As per usual accessories such as the shoes and handbags play a prominent role in this campaign as expected from the Italian designer.
