Underneath the skin there's a human

Wearing: Thrifted crochet jacket, JW Anderson X Topshop sweater, Romance was Born skirt, Dangerfield socks and Wittner holographic brogues.

When I was five my favourite colour was red because it just made me really happy, so I was super excited when I found this jacket at an op shop. A year or two ago I was really obsessed with crochet squares and in particular long jackets but on sites like eBay and etsy everyone sells them for like a hundred dollars. Eventually I gave up on owning crocheted clothing and forgot about my pipeline dream entirely until last week. This jacket only cost me ten bucks and I got several other killer vintage pieces on that particular shopping trip but this piece will probably be the most useful. Although it was sunny today the weather is still cold and I have to dress in layers before I can leave the house so I will probably end up wearing this a lot.

    1. red is just the happiest colour ever it always makes me feel great when I'm down! Gah the lady who sold me this said she loved to make crochet squares when she was my age- I felt so jealous of her skills

  9. This is the perfect outfit for a horror movie where a bunch of teenagers go into the woods and never come back. I feel like this outfit is a nice amalgamation of Wendy and Danny in The Shining. It especially makes me think of Danny's rocket sweater.
