Mushroom Gang

Wearing: Country Road sweater, vintage blouse, garage sale skirt, American Apparel socks, Lipstick jelly sandals and mushroom bead from ginettepomette (etsy).

I got this sweater for my birthday but I haven't been able to wear it until now because the weather is finally a little bit cooler. When I unwrapped it I was immediately reminded of little red toadstools so it made sense to wear it in a weird, mushroom-themed outfit. I've been kept really busy lately with lots of different assignments and coursework, but aesthetically I feel very restless. I'm stuck in a rut and I think a big change is coming soon, or I'm in the middle of one which has a lot to do with growing older and maturing and being twenty now instead of a teenager. Maybe I'll chop off all of my hair or dye it or use extensions, who knows.

In other news, I opened an etsy shop. It's called Strange Magic and you can find it here. I'm selling handmade and vintage stuff including clothes, brooches and flower crowns.

  3. I've been waiting to get back online for days so I could tell you, you look just like a mushroom! It is subtle enough to be worn without attracting negative attention from yucky people, but it is also bold enough to double as a costume. Does that make sense? That was meant to be a compliment, but I am not sure if it sounds like a compliment. I really like mushrooms. They are nice for eating, and cute for looking at. I don't think I will ever get tired of mushrooms.

  6. You look ridiculously cool. :D I love the colours in this- they are toadstool themed. ^^

Regarding changes and hair- when I left home-ish for uni I cut my way-past-boob length hair off into a cropped bob and died it ginger. :D There's something very liberating about changing your hair- go for it. ^^ 20 is a nice marker, too.

    1. First of all, I noticed that you have only joined Blogger recently, do not follow anyone and do not yourself have a blog. Undoubtedly you are just another faceless anon, criticising others but also fearing retribution. So shame on you.

I do not appreciate your body policing, or your opinion on what I wear because I do not present myself to please anyone other than myself.
This blog is a portal for my expression through style. If I want to wear tight, figure-hugging clothing (and sometimes I do) that is my choice. But if I don't feel comfortable smiling or prefer to wear something more loose and big on me, that is my choice. I am not here to validate your opinion on how you think women should present themselves, or their role in society.
